night of the blackbird

The night if the blackbird is an Italian bird folk concept about the coldest time of the year towards the end of January.    So a collective of bellydancers warmed up The Red Room in NYC for a night of dancing and music just as one of the worst winter blizzards to hit NYC began to rage outside.  Thanks to all involved for such a wonderful night.  [LINK TO FACEBOOK EVENT]
