janetti: the basics

So after a few classes - this was my first solo attempt at using studio lighting.  Studio work has always intimidated me, however now that intimidation is turning to fascination as the nerd side of me realizes the demand for technical knowhow to make the understanding of unnatural light a second nature.  If only my tiny NYC apartment could accommodate a simple rig to start getting deep into the tech...
